Tyrepower confirmed as Car #4 naming rights partner on multi-round deal

Matt Stone Racing can confirm that Tyrepower will be the naming rights partner on Cameron Hill’s #4 Chevrolet Racing Camaro on a multi-round deal for the 2024 Repco Supercars Championship.

Tyrepower’s backing of the #4 entry begins with the season-opening Repco Bathurst 500 and Round 2 at the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix.

It comes at MSR returns the #4 car number to the Stone family team, as an acknowledgement of 20-years since the dominant Stone Brothers Racing era in Supercars.

The livery of Hill’s #4 Tyrepower Camaro will be revealed at MSR’s season launch on Friday, February 9.

2024 sees the Tyrepower and MSR partnership take a significant step up, with the leading tyre retailer having been involved with the team for the past two seasons.

Becoming the naming rights backer of a Supercar also sees an increase in Tyrepower’s involvement in motorsport, having recently been announced as the naming rights partner of the Tyrepower V8 SuperUtes Series.

Tyrepower was formed in 1977 with ten independent tyre retailers and has now grown to be the largest tyre retailer in Australasia.

“We are excited to have Tyrepower onboard for the opening round and beyond,” said MSR Team Owner, Matt Stone.

“We have split the naming rights of Car #4 up over key rounds this season and will have rotating partners, starting with Tyrepower.

“It’s a great opportunity for brands like Tyrepower to step in and have the full naming rights backing of a Supercar at a few events.

“Over the past few seasons, we have built a great relationship with the team at Tyrepower and and we are very honoured to be representing such a great Australian brand as naming rights on one of our special car 4 tribute liveries this year.

“I can’t wait for everyone to see what the #4 Tyrepower Racing Supercar will look like when we take the covers off at our Feb 9 livery launch.”

Both Cameron Hill and Nick Percat’s MSR Supercars will be on track at Queensland Raceway on Monday, February 5 for a pre-season test.
