RACE RECAP
Matt Stone Racing has wrapped up a strong and educational weekend at the Australian Grand Prix for Round 2 of the 2026 Repco Supercars Championship – with Jack Le Brocq and the No.4 Sherrin Rentals Camaro continuing their impressive run of form to lead the charge for the Chevrolet contingent.
Jack delivered a consistent and competitive performance across the weekend, securing 5th place overall for the round. The result strengthens his position in the Drivers’ Championship, where he now sits 6th overall, highlighting both Jack’s excellent personal form and the team’s continued ability to provide him with a fast and reliable car.
On the other side of the garage, it was a more challenging weekend for Zach as he tackled the demanding Albert Park circuit for the first time in his career. The event presented a steep learning curve, with a number of frustrating moments and “what if” scenarios limiting the opportunity to fully showcase his pace. Despite the setbacks, the weekend provided valuable experience and learnings as Zach continues to build his understanding of the unique demands of the Supercars category.
The team will take the positives from the weekend and the lessons learned as preparation continues for the next round of the 2026 Supercars Championship – all eyes on the New Zealand double-header (Taupo 10-12 April, Christchurch 17-19 April).
