Nick Percat claimed a triumphant second race win of the Supercars season for Bendix Racing on Saturday at Symmons Plains Raceway.
It was a fantastic day on both sides of the garage, with Cameron Hill taking home an excellent sixth place finish after a stellar drive and qualifying performance earlier in the day.
A victory and P6 marks the best combined race result ever in MSR’s history.
Having qualified well in fourth, Percat vaulted to third on the opening lap and charged hard up to the back of the leading pair.
A phenomenal pit stop from the MSR crew — the fastest of the race at sub two seconds — saw Car #10 emerge in the effective race lead.
The Bendix car had brilliant pace and even with Chaz Mostert lurking in the rear view mirror, Percat claimed an outstanding victory.
Hill also drove a solid race, with another cracking pit stop on Car #4 and good pace throughout the 55-lap race sealing sixth for the Supaglass Racing driver.

Nick Percat – Driver of #10:
“The Bendix Racing car has been on rails since we rolled out the truck. It is a pleasure to drive. I can’t thank Matt Stone, Jack Bellotti, everyone on my car enough. The faith is there, and when you’ve got the faith you go well. The thing was a jet. When I realised how fast the pit stop was, I was like ‘we’re going to come out in the lead here’ because that was seriously quick. Credit to the team, because they got me the track position and effectively the race win – and I could manage what I was doing from there.”
Cameron Hill – Driver of #4:
“It was an awesome day for the whole team. For me to convert my quali result was really cool to get another top 10 and for Nick to grab the win, it’s MSR’s best day yet to have a car winning and sixth. Really stoked for the boys, they have put a lot of work into this, so it’s really cool they get to reap the benefits.”
