ADS announce 2019 plans and Newcastle partnership with MSR

This weekend Aussie Driver Search will support Matt Stone Racing in their final Supercars event for the season, as they confirm final details for their 2019 program.

ADS have boosted their current partnership with the team, which will see them run a driver full-time in the 2019 Dunlop Super2 Series with MSR.

Founder of ADS Kyle Austin said the future is bright for 2019 and beyond, with more than $1,000,000 in prizes up for grabs through their talent scouting competition.

“We are very proud to be supporting the Bigmate Racing Supercar this weekend at Newcastle, as we have some very exciting times ahead for the ADS competition,” Austin said.

“We will also be crowning our winner from the Pro Competition on 12 December, with the driver in first place to race a fully-funded season with Matt Stone Racing in 2019.

“This year has been unbelievable for ADS and all of the drivers involved and we cannot wait to come back bigger and better in 2019 with more than $1-million dollars in prizes revealed.”

Next year’s program will see the Pro Competition again offer a fully-funded Super2 season as well as a GT Competition prize to step up to a drive in the 2020 Bathurst 12 Hour.

Aimed at those wanting to gain more motor sport experience is the Amateur Competition where drivers will battle for a $100,000 racing budget, as well as the Rookie Competition, with the winner to receive a $30,000 budget for the following season.

Drivers taking part in the program will drive a range of machinery from ADS impressive fleet of 13 race cars which includes a V8 Supercar, Audi R8 LMS, four V8 Utes, two BMW 130i Production Cars and four Toyota 86 Racing Series cars.

The 2019 competition will run on a range of prestigious locations, which will include Sydney Motorsport Park, Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit and The Bend Motorsport Park.

Applications for the Aussie Driver Search program for 2019 open on Sunday, 25 November at 09:00 (AEDT) and will remain open for seven days.
